At Large and At Small

Title: At Large and At Small by Anne Fadiman

Category: Nonfiction

Review: I actually didn’t know much about this book and didn’t know if I would like this. However, once I began reading it, I started to love it. This book is filled with essays from the author. The author wrote them in a personal and professional note. In each essay, she starts with a personal story, but ends up going on to her target. The book also has interesting essays on coffee (for instance), ice cream, and butterflies. You will find each essay a separate story, but you will not be able to take your eyes off the essay you are on. If you don’t love essays, then this is not a book you will like, but try it anyway.
