The Good Old Days

Title: The Good Old Days by Ernst Klee, Willi Dressen, Volker Riess, and Hugh Trevor-Roper

Category: Nonfiction, History

Review: I bought this book from a used book store several months back and didn’t approach reading it until I decided to exchange reading used and new books. This book, the title, is really off. This is not about ‘the good old days.’ It is a horrible book, not meaning it is written horribly or anything like that. It is through the eyes of the soldiers and others of the Reich. You will find photos, files, letters, diary entries, and other evidence of the treatment of the Jews. This book should be read by everyone. It is proof of the Holocaust, of the terrible treatment of the Jews in War World II. I certainly could not put down the book (except to sleep). If you are interested in history, read this book!
