Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

Title: Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll

Category: Fiction, Adventure, Childrens

Review: I had never read any of Lewis Carroll’s books. I have seen the Disney version of the book and the movie with Johnny Depp in it, but never read the book until yesterday. I absolutely loved it. Carroll keeps you captivated from the beginning with his characters and the world of Wonderland. Alice is seen as a stupid girl to many of the various characters and she must adjust to the new world she is in. Some of the characters are not featured in the movies and the plots are changed that I have noticed. I would like to see a movie where it is true to the book. I think Carroll has created a book that will entertain the children of the future. After all, who wouldn’t want to hear of a girl who grows and shrinks, and about the Mad Hatter and March Hare, and the Cheshire Cat? It’s so fun that even adults will still love to read it.
