Title: The Perfect Nazi by Martin Davidson
Category: Nonfiction, History, War World II, Autobiography
Review: This book was written by Mr. Davidson. Until his grandfather, on his mother’s side, was dead, he truly did not know that his grandfather was a Nazi. This book is an autobiography of his grandfather, Bruno Langbehn, who was dedicated to the Nazi cause early on in his life. This book is a journey into his grandfather’s past and he does such a thorough job with the documents he has. His mother and mother’s family really don’t talk about that point in time which do not help with his journey to understand his grandfather and why he did what he did. It was as they were ashamed of Bruno’s past and did not want them to know. I really liked this book because you don’t know why people did what they did during that time period. It is a look deep inside Bruno as a Nazi, done well by the research of his grandson. It’s a very personal book. I think you will enjoy this book like I did.
